I enjoy working with clay. I am a ceramic artist with a studio gallery in Paradise Valley, British Columbia, Canada. I throw pieces on the potter's wheel and I create hand built sculptures. I mostly create pieces of art which are functional, either to be used for serving food, or for containing flowers. I sometimes create larger sculptures which are purely sculptural art forms. Clay is a naturally occurring material which can be modeled using an unlimited number of techniques. The surface of the clay can be made to look like just about anything. I enjoy working with clay for these limitless possibilities.
